Autism Behavioural Services was founded in 2007 by Freya Hunter M.Sc, a dedicated and passionate professional who believes that all children should be given the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential.
In 2006 Freya began offering ABA services privately out of her home office. As her practice quickly began to grow, Freya made the decision to open her first centre based location in Guelph Ontario. After several successful years and hundreds of families supported, Freya made the decision to move her centre to Fergus Ontario so she could provide more accessible services to individuals in rural Wellington.
At ABS we pride ourselves on offering professional and reliable evidence based services to individuals with autism and their families. Our team has a reputation for going above and beyond to meet the needs of our clients and families.
We believe that learning should be fun and that trust is foundational in our client relationships. When we combine evidence based practice, with fun engaging instructors who take the time to build rapport and genuine relationships with the families we support, we see great outcomes.

Applied Behaviour Analysis Services
Combined, Autism Behavioural Services offers decades of expertise and experience implementing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services for children, youth and adults. We specialize in early intensive behaviour intervention (IBI), functional communication training (FCT), toilet training, life skills development, behaviour management and learner readiness programming.
Who we work with
Children and Youth with ASD
We provide services to autistic children and youth between the ages of 18 months and 18 years. Autism Behavioural Services (ABS) is an approved provider through the Ontario Autism Program. Work with the Fergus Team
Our Fergus location is located at the historic St Joseph's Church and Parish. The fully renovated parish building houses 1:1 therapy rooms, a large group learning area and a complete kitchen for learning. A large fenced in outdoor play area provides an alternative location to practice play and school readiness skills. Our weekly Thursday Night Teen Social group also operates out of our Fergus location.
