Freya Hunter, M.Sc
Freya Hunter is the owner and director of Autism Behavioural Service Inc.
Freya has both a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Waterloo and a Master's of Science in Psychology from the University of Pheonix.
She has over 20 years experience within the autism field, supporting children, teens, and adults.
In 2007, Freya opened Autism Behavioural Services and has since built two successful clinics in Fergus and Orangeville, serving both Wellington and Dufferin Counties.
Freya is a dedicated and passionate professional who believes that all children should be given the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential.
Haley Payne, M.Ed., BCBA
Haley has been working in the field of ABA since 2011 and has been practicing as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst since 2014.
Haley holds Bachelor degrees from the University of Guelph (Applied Science, Child, Youth and Family) and Brock University (Education) as well as a Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction, Applied Behaviour Analysis) from Arizona State University.
Haley has experience working with children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities in both clinic and community based settings in intensive and consultative roles. In her free time Haley enjoys spending time at the cottage and hiking with her family.
Maha Ahmad, M.ADS., BCBA
Maha holds a Bachelor's Degree from McMaster University (Sociology and Psychology), and a Masters degree in Applied Disability Studies (specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis).
She has been in the field for 5+ years, and has experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Maha has been practicing as a BCBA since March 2020, and is passionate about empowering and learning from every child she works with.
Maha believes that leadership is a privilege, and compassionate leadership is central to employees and children reaching their fullest potential. Outside her work, Maha enjoys utilizing her social media platform to disseminate information about Autism and Applied Behaviour Analysis in a creative way.
Alicia Way, RBT
Lead Instructor Therapist
Alicia is a graduate of the Child and Youth Care Practitioner program at Georgian College and has been working with children on the autism spectrum since 2017.
Alicia is CPI certified and is a lead therapist at our Orangeville site. In her free time, Alicia enjoys going on bike rides, playing with her puppy and spending time at the barn with her animals.
Alicia loves her job because it is so rewarding to work with kids and watch them grow and learn. She thinks this field is so interesting because each child is different and everyday is a new learning opportunity not only for the kiddos but us as well.
Chloe Galbraith, RBT
Chloe has been an Instructor Therapist at ABS Inc since 2017.
Chloe has a Personal Support Worker diploma and is trained in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (Crisis Prevention Institute).
In her time off, Chloe can be found exploring the outdoors with family and friends, or playing team sports. Chloe loves that every day in this field is a new experience with new challenges and new rewards. She loves watching children blossom into the amazing human beings they are!
Raman has a Sociology Degree from York University and a diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science from George Brown College.
Raman has been working with children for 8 years and working with children with ASD for three years.
Outside of work, Raman loves to read, watch movies and be outside enjoying the weather! When asked what she loves most about her job, Raman shared, I’ve always loved being around kids which was one of the reasons I chose this field of work. I really enjoy watching and being a part of the small accomplishments each child makes!
Jake Hunter, B.A
Jake has a bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Development from Brock University and has been working with children for over 6 years.
Jake has worked in a variety of private and public settings and takes pride in providing quality and innovative programming. When working with children, Jake values safety, having fun and education.
In Jake's free time he takes his 2-year-old "mystery breed" dog, Holland out for many adventures. Jake and his partner Dryden enjoy trail hiking, playing board games and completing Escape Rooms. Something unique about Jacob is that he is a certified outdoor Climbing Instructor through the ACCT and also holds his Advanced Wilderness First Aid!
Megan Gancasz, B.A
Megan graduated from the University of Windsor with a major in Psychology and Anthrozoology and is currently completing a masters in Counselling Psychology. During her undergrad, Megan began volunteering at a behavioural clinic and after graduation she began working in the field providing in-home ABA therapy. Megan joined the ABS team in 2021. Megan is currently trying to decide her future career aspirations but is considering providing animal assisted therapy or becoming a psychometrist!
Megan grew up playing team sports and in her spare time she likes to play video games, especially Mario Party!
